Mrs Miggins shall have her sporran. The white bunny skin arrived in yesterday's post, and the ACG's first sewing bee for 2011 is on Sunday.  I've googled a couple of free sporran patterns. As usual with the interwebs there's a bit of useful balanced with a bit of useless.

Cos lets be honest,  I was disappointed a little that I didn't have one back in August.  Seeing as Mrs Miggins is going out again in late February I have plenty of time to assemble something useful.  I've looked on ebay etc, and the best bet is one for around $AU65 which is more than I'm willing to pay.  Time to start looking out for some white ( Read more... )

My bad choice to not get takeaway to eat in our room cos I could see myself spilling it on my or worse poisoned_kitty's white costume.  I know how clumsy I can be and all that white was just asking for food for 'ron.  However none of us noticed how long our food took to get served at the restaurant across the road from the hotel.  They'd been fast serving lunch ( Read more... )

yes I'm crazy enough to pull off all the ribbon trim & replace it with the gingham. Although it's a quarter inch too narrow it's a much better tonal match.

Cos I only had 6.5m I didn't run the trim down the open robe skirts.  And I had just enough to do the bows on the sleeve fronts & centre front.
